Anyone can own a 3D printer nowadays, but DCD 3D Printing Services provides a level of engineering expertise that is invaluable when it comes to printing in the third dimension. We are now proudly serving the 3d printing market in the Vancouver, BC area with a range of options.
Our machines use Fused Filament Fabrication technology (FFF) and will produce layer resolution as fine as 0.01mm layer thickness with 0.0125mm x and y axis positioning.
Size restraints are limited to 12" x 12" x 11.8".
Services
Prototype Parts
We can quickly make you a functional prototype or model. If you have your own build files or cad files we can work from that, or if not, we can work from drawings or sketches.
Production Parts
We make production quality parts on a regular basis, and have the means of inhouse testing when a plastic component is what you need for your end product. This is especially useful for small batch sizes, complex geometry and low strength parts.
Manufacturing Tooling
We also produce 3D printed jigs, fixtures, guides spacers and molds.

Raise3D Pro 2
This high speed, industrial grade machine features electronic driven dual extrusion with retracting hot ends in order to print complex mechanical parts. The Raise3D Pro 2 is ideal for prototyping and supports a variety of multi-material filaments.

Formlabs Form 3L
The newest addition to our printer arsenal provides a premium print with a range of functional materials, including Tough Resin and Flexible Resin. Capable of producing prints with complex shapes and extremely smooth surface finishes.

Materials
TPU: A type of flexible and elastic filament. Its rubber-like elasticity, resilience, and durability make it suitable for uses requiring impact-absorption and a soft-touch surface.
PLA: A non-toxic, bio-based industrial thermoplastic that is notable for being easy to print with, durable, and relatively strong.
PETG: A strong, durable industrial thermoplastic filament with excellent chemical resistance.
Tough 1500 Resin: An extremely resilient material that is ideal for stiff and pliable parts that need to repeatedly bend and snap back quickly.
Elastic Resin: A soft, flexible material that is suitable for parts and prototypes that need to bend, stretch, compress, and hold up to repeated cycles without tearing.
While the above types are the most common, we can print with other materials as well, including ABS, Nylon, and Carbon Fiber Filled. Our machines are generally compatible with materials printing up to 300°C and we will consider other materials upon request.
